Managing director wins Finance Monthly 2019 Award

RDB Star Rating, an independently accredited ‘quality’ assessment company, is delighted their managing director, Sue Brand, has received a Game Changer Award 2019 from Finance Monthly.
The Game Changer Awards aim to highlight the best and the brightest in the business whether it is due to their business practices, solid leadership or dedication to get results.
A spokesperson for Finance Monthly said: “The final result is a publication detailing individuals who think outside the box, deliver results and have achieved considerable success in their respective sectors. Our Game Changers are consistently forward-thinking and are often found driving fresh ideas and taking steps to achieve the unprecedented. They deserve to know that their hard work has not gone unnoticed.”
Sue Brand has spent most of her life aiming to improve the lives of adults in social care and has always been passionate about residents being treated with dignity and respect and has spent many years campaigning to achieve these standards.
The RDB Star Rating annual assessment programme is also available to individual and group residential providers throughout the country.
RDB products and assessments are based on the principles of best practice benchmarking and are accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service), to the international standard ISO/IEC 17020:2012, for inspection bodies.
Accreditation ensures RDB provide an inspection service that enables care home providers to deliver a quality service for services, meets best practice for standards of care while providing value for money to commissioners.
The process confirms that RDB Star Rating’s system provides a mark of quality for the regulator, commissioners, families and residents and is an excellent means for a provider to make their commitment to quality, visible and measurable.
